Why Tata Sky is keen on adding channels in MPEG 2 format and stopped MPEG 4migration? For many days not heard about channel migration.

May be because the remaining TP might be facing technical issues for MPEG4 conversion or may be they still have huge MPEG2 box users for remaing channels or may be some legal action would have initiated for changing the technology in between and not providing MPEG boxes for free.

nothing like that IM bro, still ts have many MPEG2 stb user. Now they are replacing with MPEG4 only on demanding. Only ts want some south market share and they added lots of south channel along with SOUTH HD. And we all know ts is not interesting in quantity.

So, my 1st assumption was right. They want to go slow in terms of MPEG4 migration and creating space as and when required.

And it was expected from ts. Now i am much satisfy with content of ts, very happy if they add 3 HD demanding channels and some popular music channels. Also package is good than airtel but not up to mark with d2h. But its natural, everything not happen as you want

I am too happy with Tata Sky and can happily live with the existing Channel Lineup for next 1 year if they add History HD in addition to Travel XP.
