Second thing all MSOs are now removed regional language channels from DAS area's for example in Jabalpur only Hindi regional channels are now part of base pack rest every other regional channels are available under Add Ons so literally every MSOs are unofficially started the new funda of base packs.

Yes gone are those days where you will get all channels under the sun for 250 rupees, even mso are forced to offer packages like DTH.

that is the disadvantage of digital cable, in analog cable,the ops pay the broadcasters without declaring exact numbers.

I don't think Analogue operators are even paid to broadcasters

If they have 100 connections they only declare 60 and the rest will go undeclared, that's the funda behind digitising.

If that was the case broadcaster would have been happy. Real scenario is if there are 100 connections, they only declare 20-30 only

But still 40 going undeclared and illegal connections too eat into lco revenue.
