For HD you have no option but to go with dish Tru HD +
But with SD we have 2 option Recorder, Non Recorder Box.

Actually every dth is unpredictable but at present Dish TV seems to be most stable and having good dose of entertainment.

Then I will choose unpredictable rather then predictable.
I dont think tata sky is unpredictable its obvious they will add most of the HD channels in coming months and even nodal officer said they have to pay fees and do some business and have to increase the Access Fee in case of Hd and Package price in case of SD if new additions occur.
This is not a good thread to discuss but here is my calculation Dish TV vs TS for balanced Hd-SD subscription
For Sports Fan -
Dish TV - 230+200 = 430 (Winner)
Tata Sky - 210+125+40+105=480
For Sports+Hindi GEC and Movies -
Dish TV - 230+200 = 430 (Winner)
Tata Sky - 260+125+40+105+40=520
For Sports+Hindi GEC and Movies + English Movies-
Dish TV - 230+200 +70= 500 (Winner)
Tata Sky - 360+125+105+40=630
For Sports Fan -
Dish TV - 230+200 = 430 (Winner)
Tata Sky - 210+125+40+105=480
For Sports+Hindi GEC and Movies -
Dish TV - 230+200 = 430 (Winner)

I think two of the top dth companies have gone into hibernation i.e tata sky and videocon d2h coz they are unaware of dish tv latest addition of channels and there both companies are in silent mode and there is a say that "toofan ke aane se pehle sab jagah sannata rehta hai" and i think both dth companies will emerge like a storm and silenced all their critics and once again rule the dth market, sorry to be so abusive
