Its there since last 2 years as far as I know. May be it would have been from earlier too.

So thread is created to popup the old scheme and to defame airtel
because some of them keep it as a futureproof means they get it at low price with some offer but have crt tv,some get as gifts,earlier some also buy for dvr facility.
Earlier they were allowing only sd packs around 3-4months ago.
when they were leader in HD channels 2012 they weren't allowing only sd pack,then removed it and i think they have applied it since last 3-4 months.

No one purchase HD box for future and what cheap rates I think 2,3 years ago HD box rate was high now prices are bit down (I am not taking about DVR).

Bro, SD to HD upgrade offer is always there. And such percent of people won't be even 0.5% who will be so futuristic.
So, you yourself think policies or packages should be made considering 99.5% or 0.5%
