Yeah. I an unable to recall correctly but Mr. Nagpal has hinted that in some interview during 4K announcement.
But will it be sufficient time till migration to new sat is over................?
Thats what I wanted to say.................We have to keep this possibility open...............We are only assuming that govt will launch new sat for TS in future...................& now TS Sat migartion is over...............

Yup bro. If you remember d2h migration from ST1 to ST2 it was done within a month after the transponder was allocated to them. and Tata Sky technical team has been taking home salary without much work since a long time. So, its time now for them to outperform and get their appraisal done accordingly
Not to forget its Appraisal time everywhere

Also, one need to invest billions to acquire transponder space. So, i don't think Tata Sky will take double hit of investing so much of amount in one shot both in GSAT-10 and Aisasat. They will find out some way to create more space on GSAT-10 only and we may saw channel additions too.
Do you mean to say TS now distribute HEVC STBs to all users across India & take back allotted mpeg4 STBs............?
Mpeg4 migration cost is estimated at 1000 crs...........So how much money HEVC migartion would require.........?
As of now GSAT 10 TP's are having exact replica of channels on Insat 4A, So, MPEG2 channels are also present on GSAT 10
