Breaking News DTH Interoperability order passed by TRAI

On my new HD d2h box there was a sticker saying this box to belongs to d2h and they can take it back whenever they want.

TRAI has made their rule but literally having lot many flaws.

But it will take time to implement this and many will be against it

Means actual cost of UHD box is Rs. 6000 and if we return the box we will get Rs. 6000 back ?

So will they take everything I mean the dish the box remote etc etc or if a person wants to use the dish of one dth and a box of other dth will it be possible

There is no benefit in this new interoperability. Only benefit is you can get refund of your recharge amount. That's it

I don't think any DTH would have sold hardware in outright.

I think because you have upgraded HD STB @ Rs999.....

Disappointed to see only commercial portability.....Trai is not thinking of customers properly.
Such schemes won't succeed & DTH will make sure to discourage customers for portability.
