ISRO is responsible for this mess.
Why not have a open policy and let the DTH operators choose the satellite of their choice.

all those who were questioning me on knowledge that u need proof that tata sky has contract for 12 tps on gsat 10 signed, read the article carefully.tata sky signed the contract 5 yrs ago and are now waiting for allotment

We were not doubting on your knowledge. When we were discussing this topic last time we have many articles which stated that ADTV too has been promised transponder from GSAT-10.

But now that Harit Nagpal has clearly stated that they are getting 12 TPs, so its hints that GSAT - 10 was supposed to have more transponders but they managed to accommodate only 12.

airtel is just misleading people by telling that they r waiting for gsat 10. gsat 10 is at 83 degree east and airtel i using ses7 at 108.2 deg east,it is aternot remotely possible for airtel to c to customers with 2 sats so apart

I am not saying Tatsky wont get 12 TPs from Gsat but any thing can happen .ISRO is not liable to allot 12 TPs from G Sat 10 itself as per the statement .

As the contract is said to have been signed 5 yrs. ago and the only successful satellite launch thereafter is gsat10 then ISRO is under obligation to honour the said contract and should hand over required tps to Tata Sky.

At any point of time I will trust the words of New Media other than any random member on any forum. If you have trust on Tata Sky CEO, then you must have similar trust on Airtel CEO too.

Well i think u didnt get the point.
I said > as per contract [quoted in article] ISRO has to give 12 TPs from It's Satellite , There is no such conditions of alloting from 1 Satellite itself. They can allot few from another upcoming Their sat too...
