Brilliant catch and share bhaskarkilli bro
If Bass is not there then the punch will be missing. So, overall audio experience of you on ADTV is not satisfactory.
Earlier I connected with HDMI and I didnt experience 5.1. I experienced 5.1 only after connecting thru SPDIF cable. now I connected both HDMI and SPDIF cable. SPDIF cable frm box to hometheater and HDMI cable frm box to tv and home theater to tv. which wud be the best settings for dolby digital experienceIn ADTV STB box got to menu option and click setting,Users settings, audio in audio if you are using Optical option then choose in SPDIF audio would be DD,if you are using HDMI then choose DD or DD+ audio.Home theater settings depends on brands.
For Dolby digital both options are good and if your HT decodes DD+ sound then you have only option is HDMI. threw HDMI only you can get DD+ sound.Earlier I connected with HDMI and I didnt experience 5.1.
