hey guys i have VIDEOCON DDB(out of warranty) .it got display problem (redness in screens) so i called for technician to see the problem .the told me that the main board is corrupt have to replace.so i told them to replace it (it cost me 3800+150(technician visit charge)+300for new installation and update of board).

my question -
1)was the replacement necessary or was it solvable without the replacement
2) is it cost me more than normal or its the regular price

and
3) after the replacemnt i am only getting the schedule of next episode .its not showing me any schedule after next .what to do guys

i think it is a tint problem. it can be rectified via ur tv settings only. first try to resolve it by ur own after applying all tv settings.

second thing - tint problem is common in d2h. many users say reddish tint problem. but i m getting yellowish tint problem.

no it was not a tint .it was in full display spreading like liquid (i have DDB .its a LED tv + DTH MIXED)

If the display is gone then it has to be replaced.

If there is a issue with your display then it needs to be replaced before the tv is dead
