The TV has DTS sound, I guess. It has only one HDMI input port. It's 23 inch HD reday TV.if your TV supports DD, then you can enjoy virtual surround.

I use external speakers. TV sound is not good. And Dolby Digital is via HDMI. So I don't see there would be any effect of Dolby Digital on LED TV speaker, because they lack quality and are only 2.then no prb, press "i" and press yellow button and press the cursor keys, voila DD enabled on your tv.
The audio quality improves a lot in DD. Virtual surround is headphone thing. On speakers you gotta have real speakers for real surround.you can enjoy the virtual surround i said.

There is TruSurround in my TV as well. But LED TV's speakers are of not that good quality and bass, you won't get it.even in some tv, surround sound is supported.
