I don't think it would have been upgraded. It must have been Star Sports HD 1 on a-la-carte.

I had checked but it was showing Gold Sports base package and 12 M Super Gold HD add-on.

This is a recent screenshot. SS HD1 has been activated today but the activation date is being shown as 27/09/2015.
