Zee TV SD doesn't provide Dolby Digital on Tata Sky. Anyway, who cares, we watch HD mostly.

Only some people say that SD channels can carry DD Audio. In India no broadcaster/operator provides DD audio on SD channels.
We are living in India, hence lets not waste time talking about what SD channels have in other countries. As of now SD channels cannot have DD Audio because of technical limitations.

i am sure dish carries zee tv SD in 5.1

Bro. DD Audio and 5.1 Surround Sound are different things. May be Zee has 5.1 normal sound.

Even Siticable and Dish TV doesn't provide that.

I have heard that some channels have 5.1 Multi Channel Audio. Must be you are talking abt that. Its like Stereo just that Stereo is 2 - Channel.

But even Siti and Dish doesn't provide any DD audio 5.1 for Zee channels.

Bro, the 5.1 surround sound standard is called Dolby Digital . There are other standard as well of THX and DTS, but Dolby Digital is the most common one.
