it's not confirm but those channels which currently not showing EPG are going to convert to MPEG4 soon . so user ask tatasky to change there STB .

if they don't do that . most of ppl won't care about mpeg4 migration .
That's what i said in previous post.
If they change the existing channel into MPEG-4,the customers will surely screw them in consumer court.

I think no. TS will give a dead line for all MPEG2 Users . after the dead line expires they will move all channels to MPEG4.
Also they r exchanging the STB Free of cost , so how can a consumer complain ?
how ? while purchased tatasky you already agreed there terms & conditions
they need to do it forcefully . we know how Indian mentality is like . jab tak chal raha hai chal ne do bad mai dekh lenge

Could you kindly explain who are those 95% customers??? Are we talking about the people who are in forum? Kindly don't come to any conclusion with just the forum knowledge. We live in India. Ground reality is something very different. In fact 95% customers are not even aware of this entire episode. All they know that TS is giving less channels. Its shocking that even educated & people working in MNCs are not aware of this.
Unless it comes to open public domain with some news channels they will not know. Also except few people like us who are interested in more new channels, others are not even bothered if some channels are not in their menu, since they have chosen the particular DTH only for the content what it's already providing & not for what it may gonna provide...

Well Tatasky is informing users about new channel additions [after the addition] by sending message to STBs . now they might add a line > "NE TV added in MPEG4 , if u want to see the channel exchange ur STB "
The reality is only 5-10% may be upto 15% people knows and asks about more channels . others r happy with their existing channels once they choose any DTH . Few My relatives have HD Connections , also have Internet but they even dont know about these forums . they r evn not demanding new HD or SD Channels . they only know after recieving Messages in the STB.
