Well Tatasky is informing users about new channel additions [after the addition] by sending message to STBs . now they might add a line > "NE TV added in MPEG4 , if u want to see the channel exchange ur STB "
The reality is only 5-10% may be upto 15% people knows and asks about more channels . others r happy with their existing channels once they choose any DTH . Few My relatives have HD Connections , also have Internet but they even dont know about these forums . they r evn not demanding new HD or SD Channels . they only know after recieving Messages in the STB.

I think no. TS will give a dead line for all MPEG2 Users . after the dead line expires they will move all channels to MPEG4.
Also they r exchanging the STB Free of cost , so how can a consumer complain ?

yes,i am also saying this.This will take a lot of time(at least 3months) and after 80-90% stb exchange ,they might change all to MPEG-4.But ajuravi said they would 1st change some channel to MPEG-4 and when people compain they would have asked for replacement.

When airtel changed to ses-7,they changed dish direction free of cost for first 5-6months and after that they charged.
They continued the all existing channel(that time) till last year end in 4cR.Why they wasted money with 2 satellites.
Because that could be easily challenged in court.

This is also same.First they have to replace 80-90% stb free of cost and they have to change .
Otherwise they will loose many customers and will be challenged in consumer court.

not exactly, because company has right to drop any channels at any time from platform/package so cant complaint in consumer court. Read t & c again.

Bro,that is channel removal.But this is channel available,but not able to watch due to MPEG-2 stb supplied by company.

Who is dropping channels? They are just moving and supply stb free. Also they not going to do it one go. I think they do it state wise.
