Update VD2H is providing dolby through HDMI

I have another doubt if any one can clear it it will be better.

If i started getting Dolby Sound through HDMI on my TV. Will my home theater sound quality also improve.
My home theater is a normal 5.1 Philips 3500 Watt. It is connected to Videocon STB by 3.5 MM Jack cable.

Now Videocon D2H having Low volume prblem in Dolby mode.If they are rectified this problem definitely sound will be improved.

Thnx Dyutiman:

i checked it by pressing the info+yellow button. Two sound mode was coming.

1.Hindi(1/2)
2.Dolby Digital

when i was selecting dolby mode and pressing OK. No sound was coming from my TV. That means I am not getting Dolby sound. Lets see whether the technician is able to fix it or not.

I also not getting DD.

yes.There is big difference is there.I wrote on d2h FB page and got a call also but they didn't rectified this problem.Now D2H ignoring customers problems they are giving reply in FB but they are not giving calls and not rectifying the problems.

As far as the d2h HD Set Top Boxes are concerned, 5.1 sound is output on the “Co-Axial” and the “Optical” outputs.

Please note that the “Optical” Audio output is available only in the HD DVR (Model 4614).

This is a FAKE news. I tried everything to get Dolby through HDMI in our OLD Hd box. But it was useless. Finally I changed my 2011 box and upgraded to 2222 model. It has inbuilt software which support dolby through HDMI.

Solution is that either update the software or change the box for stb 2222.

So, now it's confirmed that Dolby via HDMI is working in latest HD Box - 2222. That's great.
