DISHTV or D2H is far better than Tata sky in managing these basic expectations.. I m not mentioning cost as E because everyone is aware that Tata Sky is the most expensive DTH.. It seems that success is now spinning on their head.. They have to make drastic changes else Jio will give them tough competition.

I think marketing strategy is the most important thing then anything else. I remember the earlier version of PlayStation which used to run in DVD, they're as crap as videogames, for videogame freaks after 10 - 12 hours it stop working due to its limitation of heat it stop reading DVD but whenever boots up it used to make good little sound with a screen PlayStation tats what they made everytime.

Similarly in Tata Sky as well they did whatever they needs to paint it as a Brand and unless Brands not connecting with people not influencing the people then no use because we commoners will listen to one commoner first rather then from any hefty brand ambassador.

You have forgotten the most important factor, dual tuner LNB and you can record two channels simultaneously in TS. In dish tv you can't record too when EPG is absent.
Fav channels in one list is restricted to 20 in d2h that spreads across four user fav lists.

No, Dish TV has manual recording option as I have used it even when EPG is not present . Even d2h has twin tuner and you can record two programs simultaneously.. But they have 6 favorites with 20 channel each makes 120 channels and not 50. All I am saying that every operation has plus and minuses but there are very basic options...

Four fav list in d2h bro and you can. Record or watch that is present in the same tp simultaneously. So we can't record a program or command at that particular time in TS?
