1080i and 1080p are different in the frame method only. In 1080i odd and even lines are scanned regularly whereas in 1080p entire frame is scanned beforehand

I am not looking for theoretical facts bro. Lots of facts mentioned in many websites are not correct. On ground reality its different.

So, I am looking for someone who have practically used 1080i and 1080p videos on a HD ready 1348 X 768 LED or LCD
I have 32" bravia kdl ex520 and didn't see any difference in it actually I never tired real 1080p files they are too big. Tried yifi rip didn't see any difference my friend told me u see difference of 1080p only in
+40" screen

As all HD signal(other than ESS) is 1080i it is better to go for either 1080i or 1080p TV. Though it doesn't matter which one you choose as both 1080i & 1080p are the same resolution.

There is a huge difference between 1080i and 1080p.

You will hardly find any 1080i video online. It's used only for broadcasting in Cable and DTH.

Where as blu ray etc are always in 1080p whose size is 4 times bigger than 1080i

The depth, resolution everything is so perfect.

I am sure that 1080i videos will play perfectly on a HD Ready TV but I have doubt about 1080p videos.

True, 1080i and 1080p aren't the same thing, One is interlaced and the other is progressive but they are the same resolution.

Every Blu-ray on the market is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels at 24 frames per
second. This resolution is less than 1080i as 1080i runs on 30 fps. But file size is larger in blue ray because of other factors like compression.

I think you need to check this link

You are talking the same bro. I am also talking about file size. It's all because of interlacing. Progressive scan makes the file size bigger because additional layer if attached.

So, At any point of time 1080p videos will show drastically superior to 1080i.
