News18 Punjab HH is 1000 times better than Zee Punjab HH.
Majority of good anchors have left the channel.
The new one they have recruited can't even prounounce a single line without a mistake (their female anchor especially)

In day time after every hour or half an hour
They are showing advertisements.

Where News18Punjab HH airs 75% Punjabi (they are not highly critical of Badla like zee)
content opposite to Zee's 15-20

They have a crime show (like Savdhaan India).


IndiaNews Punjab airs more entertainmemt shows but they are not fetching
Very high numbers due to unavailability on Dth platforms (their trp is good though).


Coming to Sony Punjabi
They have gotten license since 2015-16

Dunno when they are launching it.

PTC simran is not getting license.
Don't know why.


I don't like Gurbani rights is given to PTC.
In Gurbani programmes they praise Badal family or show them in positive limelight.

It should be given to BBC etc
(Zee has gotten Gurbani rights of Bangla Sahib (Delhi) for airing it in UK)

SGPC can make 100 crore a year just from Gurbani rights but contrary to it they are paying PTC for airing Gurbani
(They are filling their packets from two sides Trp bhi aur paisa bhi).
If i am not wrong
SChandra had planned to launch a channel Zee Khalsa in 2007

But kaale badls launched their own channels.

Actually having 1 channel for Punjab Haryana Himachal is stupid.
It shoukd be
1 for Punjab
1 for Haryana as both states have distinct language.
& 1 for Himachal & Uttarakhand.
Adding Uttarakhand to a big state of UP is again injustice to Uttarakhand.

Agree
Punjab has different language
than haryana and himachal.

Things worsen when they started showing news from Punjab in Hindi.
Although Hindi is understable to many but
It looks so stupid.

UP completely overshadows uk
