Nope they're smart. Hit shows like Sword Art Online, Shin Chan, Attack on Titan, The Seven Deadly Sins, Assassination Classroom, One Punch Man etc are distributed to Netflix, Animax, Aniplus... Then they sell merchandise, goodies also.. So they earn via that... Some of the less popular good genre anime they offer via VOD channel for free and there also they're earning via Adsense. It's win on win for both Muse and anime fans..
