BREEZING SUMMER, In response to ur views on channels like Oscar movies, R vision & hbn not being demanded, any dth needs to add such channels for carriage fees so that effective price for customers stays in control. People here keep demanding for channels after channels and once these channels are added they begin demanding addition of these in base packs WITHOUT any hike.How come this could be POSSIBLE?

I know respected Timkamat its very essential for every DTH player to get more out of its Operational cost in terms of managing the highest ARPU only than it becomes profitable but my dear friend they could have hiked it to Rs 14 or so but Rs 40 hike is not justified moreover it will be gain for all other Package subscribers on the cost of Platinum HD subscribers. Dont you think so?

I keep reading all forum members post here but hardly get time to post or comment but this time i decided to take this matter directly with D2H management as it's our right to raise our voices against any unwelcome move.We all love D2H services and the pricing thats why we all have opted for D2H but if keeps on increasing the Price than we have to look for more better options in the market, If we can Pay Rs. 540 than we can pay Rs. 600 for DISH TRU HD also with all the demanding channels from me and any other forum members.What you say?

Geek Vishal & Timkamat...You guys are not understanding the point i guess..Paying Rs. 40 is not the point but the point is a Hike of Rs. 40-50 or 60 for a single channel and that is in SD and not in HD...Moreover Geekvishal kindly read my comments above about DISHTRU HD as they are providing most of me and other members demanded channels. Recently they have added more International channels from across the border and Middle East plus they will be adding SS1 and SS3HD on there platform so what kind of locking horns over distribution...D2H is having good relationship with FOX network still they havent added FOX traveller HD or NGC WILD/NGC Music HD/SD on there platform.Most of the time D2H fail to be first network to add some exclusive channels..

And I can pay even Rs. 1000 for better product and options if I like the services dear Vishal and I totally take your comment in the sportive manner...Awaits your views...

People dont understand or act to understand is really questionable..Paying for right services like demanded HD-SD right from day one wont'e be issue anymore...
Only consistent hike with dried HD services for huge long period, people can't afford in today's world..

This is the point Bro Tillu...You got it right...Money is not the matter but the right pricing with justified channel offerings...Even Local cable providers are providing all the channels mentioned at a much lower price.

Though not entirely on topic, please note that the "across the border" channels added by dishtv WILL NOT BE available thru dishtv india.They are for their international operations.
