But reality is some thing different.Movies now airing some hit(Old hit movies already given by some other channels)movies.Actually this scenario is working out tremendously for movies now.I agree movies now airing very few and old movies but all are very well known in India that is the reason movies now viewer ship is more comparing to other English channels.2nd thing is where the viewership is more then adds also will be there.Actually adds will give revenue to these channels.As dino said is entirely wrong.they are airing adds for revenue but not for lacking more movies.
But now Movies now also concentrating on movie count that is the reason they are airing some exclusive movies in movies now.Now they are coming with shrek,lord of the rings,harry porter(first time in HD).everybody can watch and enjoy with these movies.Plus point is Movies now sound is so good and no way comparision with any channel.

No Bhaskar bhai, They are showing same movies again an again. Even Rocky had been shown more than 20 times till the channel is launched. They have shown Part 1 to Part 4 back to back atleast 4-5 times.
Other channels distribution is low, so they are lagging . Otherwise they would have beat Movie Now long back.

generally Any channel acquire rights from producers not from other channels.some times it may happen depending on agreement.Some times rights will share with multiple channels. any ways it is all depending on agreement.

Not producers Bhaskar bhai, from distributors. e.g AVATAR Satellite rights was acquired by Star, but they re-sold the rights to Movie Now to make more money.
