5-6 months back, my stb started showing problems. the problem was d2h stb was running then suddenly off and then after 15-20 seconds started again.

they asked me to pay 450 rs. i.e. 275 for the stb + 175 rs. for the engineer visit. i said it shuld be done for free.
they declined it. then my area service centre called me and i threatened him. and it was done for free.

answer to ur question - yes they will give u all the money via cheque within 45 days. so go ahead now.

I was applied for same & my account balance was about Rs.8000 but they refunded only 5300 through cheque

I only taken Rs.5300 & still box kept with me
