All brands of HT is not giving the same Picture output as they recieve in HDMI . few features downgrading the Picture. for example Onkyo HT has a feature for adjusting Normal,Dim ,Dimmer. this is effecting the actual Picture quality for dth input . .
HT never downscale pq bro and receiver has the picture options same like tv so depending on mood we can watch on pictures settings.by the way I am using standard setting only and my bluray player, media player, dth all are connected to same ht and I am getting excellent pq.another thing if watch ts channel very near to tv you can see pixels and that is not happening in adtv.

not all connect HDMI first to HT . many HT models don't have HDMI input . once the signal pass through a HDMI minimal percent of downgrade occurs. That may effect in low priced models &brands. you know TV set too upscale the pictures. differant brands have differant tint, color adjustments. for bluray the picture stream is passing directly to TV. finally the picture settings, quality depands upon the viewing satisfaction of viewer.

recent all HTs having HDMI ports compatibility. And I must say using HDMI will give more AQand PQ in fact we can get DD+ threw HDMI only.Yes..TVs,HTs and Bluray players having upscale compatibility. But they never downscale.

I believe his hands were a bit shaky while he was taking snaps of Tata Sky.
