So if I buy the box, still I will have to pay the package fee for watching the channels? Will I stream them thru internet or will it continue to work on dish?

For these kind of Boxes Dolby Atmos should be must and it should decode DTS-HD also. If not it will be useless for many users.

No bro. You don't have to pay anything for one year. If you are an existing customer then you can connect your antenna and start watching with current subscription

Else plug to internet and start enjoying these channels through their Xstream app

Press release haven't provided the complete specs. Let's see if Dolby is included or not.

Will update as soon as I get more specific details

So you mean to say, If I want to run this over internet completely then I wont be paying anything for 1yrs apart from 3999 or 2499. And after 1 yr I can continue to watch the channels using internet for 999 every year?
What are the channels that are included?

I think you will need an active DTH subscription to keep the box running. Because when you purchase the box 1month hd pack is free. So they might do what they did with android box earlier.

Not at this time.

Even a airtel telecom user have access to XStream app.

So i doubt they had linked this new hardware with a active dth subscription. It was earlier with Airtel Internet TV STB
