Any way to get 3G speed in AirTel with 2G recharge?

I have ported into AirTel from today. Coming from idea where I used to recharge for 2G pack and get speeds better than 2G by toggling the Auto connection mode. Is there any such possibility in AirTel?

I think no, bcoz in my area ots not toggle with 3G where ideas network toggle to 3G.......

Yes im using only airtel and Vodafone and both the network not toggle to 3G where idea does but i dont like idea network.

Only idea allows it. BSNL offers you both 2g and 3G in same pack.

4 years back, when I used Airtel, it used to allow 3G speed on auto connection mode by subscribing to 2G packs.
But now I think there is also cap on speed.......but I found Idea speed better than Airtel.....
