Regard software trick, even Airtel is having same software but they don't show Dolby like go like this

If d2h would be having rights, they too would have shown somewhere in the EPG.

But for decoding Dolby sound they should have Dolby license IM bhai. with out license decoding Dolby sound is purely Illegal.

I doubt d2h have Dolby Digital rights as nowhere they advertising it with LOGO or wording either within website or on channel s/w since they started their HD services.

No specific DD Sound mode settings are there in s/w.Only wording came that too under Language mode.It's not under SOUND Setting mode.[they are giving like stereo or Homecinema].
Earlier they were advertised it as High Definition Digital Crystal Clear Sound only via their website or on Product boxes.Now they have stopped providing that too.

DD on HD channels is coming from Broadcasters in d2h.

One option is to check this, whether each d2h product HD DVR or STB giving Dolby Digital 5.1 in Specification.?
If it is there, then they will have to provide Dolby Digital but we can't guaranty till they officially advertising everywhere with LOGO.Since it's not mandetory till TRAI make it Legal for every DTH.

In my info HD DVR-4611 160GB Ultech- gives Dolby Digital 5.1 and i fought with them regarding but they didn't claim officially in mail write up.

This is quite informative. I think if Prankey would be active, he would have highlighted some more facts about genuinity of actual Dolby Digital audio on d2h.

I don't think d2h, dishtv, RDTV having DD as I already mention the link of DD Partners nowhere these 3 DTHs are present.

That is what we can say decoding Tillu bro.for that also should license from company.see the any home theatre.what are they having decoding license like Dolby,dolby digital,Dolby true HD,Dolby digital plaus,Prologic.pro logic11,prologicz.prologic zx all are diffrent sound formats and for that decoding rights should be there.DTS also another format for that also same.

So, do you guys get various Dolby settings in Hathway, ADTV and TATA Sky as these are not present in d2h.

FYI, Regarding Future Ready Video quality :

MStar Licenses DivX Technology to Enable UltraHD/4K HEVC Content.
So Automatically it will come on D2h-M-Star DVR-STB

But question is, will Videocon d2h really go for it with their money free hand and if yes then when?
As this production of boxes completed 2 months back.And still there are no signs.

where as we seeing the news of UltraHD-4K STB & broadcasting by TS which came few weeks back.
