Well for Quality nothing beats Airtel, their Video and Audio Quality is far superior than Tata Sky but yes their New HD STB's have poor build quality, i feel like holding a small plastic toy when i take the HD STB in my hands, its worse than Videocon

Every DTH is premium its upto us how we're using by opting suitable and cheapest package.

If wants to opt TS for Hardware then go with DVR only otherwise no reason to say that TS is special. There normal HD box is same like dish and not even have recording feature. Better opt DVR of TS which is best with its competitor rest talking PQ we can set PQ according to our liking also.

I dont agree this..I do agree that ADTV quality is good but TS PQ and AQ quality is same or on par with ADTV.there is no doubt on that.

For me Airtel Picture Quality is Superior and Audio Quality is much superior. Tata Sky over compresses channels and then uses de-blocking to smoothen pixels thus making picture less sharp and blurry

Today I got message that Gold HD price has been increased from 389 rs to 439 rs.!!
I couldn't believe that!! They increased 50 rs. For just SS HD3! Which is totally useless ...

I talked to Customer care few days back only, I was told that the yearly price of Gold HD is Rs. 355 per month.
Today after seeing this topic I re checked My account section of D2H website and it is still showing 355 per month.
Can you please share a screenshot of the message you have got?

Because I am also on Gold HD but I am not getting SS HD3 although I am getting SS 3(free) .
I had to Activate SS HD1 for world cup.

This Extra 49 you are paying might be the cost of SS HD3 45+10% service tax,, which got activated by mistake or some mischievous CC executive activated it without your consent. :v

No bro SS HD 1 is already in package and SS HD 3 added currently ...and it's not free coz they increase the base pack by 50 rs.
It is not activated by mistake it has been added in base pack

It SS HD1 & HD3 either of them has NOT been added in the base pack.
I am on Gold Hd pack only And I had to activate SS HD1 via a la carte.
and I am not getting SS HD3 but you're getting it.. its strange.
