Signal strength should matter and not quality. Even in 10% quality you can view the channels uninterrupted.

What would be the cost of upgrading 90 cm dish antenna from 70 cm.?
I'm having rain fade issue in light showers also...I also realigned dish by complaining to engineer...first signal quality was only 45%...he increased it to 65-70% now....i told him that many ppl are getting signal quality 90% or above ..but he denied that in this region we can't get more than this quality...He told me that this is the highest quality can not increase from this.
Is he telling truth or not?

I was facing acute rain fade issue. I complained to them via Facebook and their local service team contacted me for installation of 90cm dish. I was told I had to pay Rs 500. I didnt argue with them, but asked them to wait till I confirm and complained again on their Facebook page. By that evening I got a call from local team that they would install the dish free of cost and it was installed the same day at no extra cost.
And yes, the rain fade issue got solved to the great extent.Now I get an outage of just 10-20 seconds only in case of severe rains.

Thank you timkamat for guiding me...so now i'm going to complain d2h via facebook lets see what happens....
But dont argue with your local team. He they ask you for any charges simply tell them You will let them know later.Argue on their Facebook page or more preferably on twitter, It will work more effectively if you are on higher pack.In my case I am on platinum HD.
Yes mr. timkamat...i wont argue with local man...will argue via fb or if necessary then to nodal officer ...and im also Platinum HD user with 1 year plan...so hoping good..I'll tell them all the problems i m getting and will stick to my point...lets see what happens...i've complained once on fb waiting for local team call.
Bad luck for me...couldn't get 90cm. dish. Engineer visited my house and told me that rain fade issue is common and 90cm. dish is not provided by d2h, it is only for Common Antenna for Appartments.
They told me that don't lodge too many complaints otherwise d2h will blacklist your ID and then even you have serious problem and you complain, your complain will not be forwarded!!
They told me that if you wish 90cm dish then you have to buy on your own of other antenna manufacturing company and will have to install it by your own.!!!
