DAS III MSO must Sign Agreement with Broadcasters before 31st Dec 15

Hi All,

From last few days I am getting such messages and scrolls on some channels namely all Zee/Star/Sony channels. Today I saw even on Times Now and Aaj Tak.

Any one getting this message, as this is from broadcasters end.

Yes Broadcasters Will Cut Off Signals By End Of This Month

For DAS III Areas If They Didn't Make New Agreement

What if they make new agreement for DAS. and don't turn off analog signals on 31st Dec ???

MSO says that due to shortage of STB they wont turn off analog this month end, and might extend the date by some time.
As may people don't have STB installed.

But is that allowed, TRAI is firm on the dates, if one MSO seeks time, others will also ask, and then there will be problems. As per the Cable TV Act, its illegal and a crime to keep analog cable on after Dec 31st
