HD PVR box is available from Monday from Hathway main office in Bangalore. I have been asking my LCO to get one for me. He says he is not able to get it as they haven't yet decided how the subscription charges will be shared between Hathway and LCO. I am planning to go to the Hathway main office to see if they will let me buy the HD PVR box from them.

I have my LCO's LCO code. I hope LCO code, ID and address proof is enough to buy the HD PVR box.

I have paid for 1 year HD subscription. About 11 months are still left in it. My LCO said he will refund the remaining subscription but won't pay anything for the box.

Is there an option of exchanging the old Hathway SD settop box with the new Hathway HD or HD PVR settop box? The LCO here is not confirming about the HD settop box price and HD offer price. Why do we require the ID and address proof for the HD or HD PVR settop box when bought? I don't understand when you say that you have paid for 1 year HD subcription but you have only 11 months left. Kindly please clarify and share the details. Thanks very much in advance.

Hello, I am a new member to this group. I am also one of the Hathway Digital Cable TV subscribers in Bangalore and facing very tough time with the Hathway services being provided by my LCO. I face Audio/Video distortion problems many of the time, Signal Quality and Strength is low at many times, the LCO doesn't even answer the call. :-( Don't know what is the solution. I don't want to jump to DTH as there is this problem of signal during rains or bad weather.

These cable services depend completely on LCOs. Your problem looks like signal issue or cable issue. You should ask your LCO to get the signal checked at your place.

Hathway HD box costs Rs2000 and you need to pay Rs1800/year or Rs900/6 months or Rs150/month for HD channels. You will have to pay separately for SD channels depending on the package that you choose.

HD PVR has 3 options.
Option1: Rs8000 with one month free Vajra package and HD package.
Option2: Rs10000 with 6 months free Vajra package and HD package
Option3: Rs13000 with 12 months of free Vajra package and HD package.

These days for every new connection they are asking for ID and address proof. Packages will be introduced soon. You may be asked to submit ID and address proof when you are asked to select the packages.

I was saying I had renewed my HD subscription in December. When I bought HD PVR last week, I had about 11 months subscription left it it.

The issues which you mentioned are more bigger than temporary rain fade issues.

If LCO is not listening to you, better move on bro.

You may use a bigger Dish for lesser signal loss during monsoon.

SONY MIX removed my MSO. Reason MSO was transmitting MIX from DD FD, and since MIX is no more in DD FD, its been removed from cable network. MSO has to directly take MIX from satellite (Sony). Any other user is Sony Mix available in your network ???

And hathway users also pls check if FTA/DD channels have DDFD logo ??

Hathway users can please clarify how Zee channels are there in EPG/Nav Bar ??? is its Zee like zee café, zee news, etc or Z Café, Z News ???

Zee Jagran has been removed by MSO, as its shut down by broadcaster w.e.f 1st Feb 2015
