Hello all,
Could you let me know which one is better - Hathway or Tata Sky?
I have bought a new big Full HD TV and would want to know the quality of both SD and HD and the number of HD channels provided.

I stay in Ameerpet, near SR Nagar PS Junction, Hyderabad.

You can go with Tata Sky as they have good quality STB with good UI and 48 hd channels (4 are showcase channels ) but the price is little on the higher side but if you want you can go with mega pack

How about the HD/SD quality between Hathway and Tata Sky? Are 48 channels available in Hyderabad as well?

are you from Hyderabad then dont think not even in dream about digital cable.That much of pathetic here.You have only option DTH.choose which is you want.

Today Tata Sky added 13 SD channels including one Telangana and some more Telugu channels. Also they have recently added lots of HD channel. Currently Tata Sky HD channel count is 48.

So, undoubtedly Its the right time to buy Tata Sky.

I called up the cable guy yesterday and I was told there are 29 HD channels in Hathway.
Rs.6000 for setup and 1 year charges.
Subsequently Rs.5400 per annum from 2nd year.
Basically Hathway may give ALL channels (+HD)... One advantage there where as other DTH ops give n number of confusing packs to choose from.
My inclination is towards Hathway because of this simple reason.
But going by the above posts may think over to choose one good DTH operator!!!
