How any one can forward live TV ?

A live TV can be paused. So after certain buffering it can be forwarded and even rewinded.

We can rewind Live TV even without pausing but can't forward without pausing.

How will you do that coz we don't know what will come ahead in a live event but we can go back and checkif we have missed something
