Hi Fellow Members

Greetings for the day!!

I am looking for a new DTH for my primarily TV.

I am using Tatasky for my Secondary TV

I feel having 2 different service provider is advantageous.

My priority is HD, Sports, Tamil channels & important Hindi channels , i am not after quantity

Options I am considering

1. Transfer my Airtel HD or Tatasky to my sister and go for a new connection.
2. Dish TV which has been off my radar previously, however with their current offerings seems very tempting ....
4. Considering Sun direct HD as well but there has been no new additions with new satellite available.
5. Videocon d2h is disqualified as I have used d2h but the experience was terrible finally had it deactivated and money refunded.

Kindly give your valuable suggestions.

Thanks
Bharath

I will not suggest dishtv though only fan boys like me can enjoy their service :D

Who knows when they start removing the channel from base pack.

BTW you can ask about it how can I help you regarding dish ?

BTW you also having Airtel HD + box right ?

In my view you should either go with airtel as they are adding channels on a constant basis or with dish tv coz they have maximum hd channels along with hindi and sporta channels

I am no fanboy of any brand either Anirudha

My intention of creating this thread was to have a brainstorming of thoughts and suggestion before making my decision

BTW dishtv is OK brand but in many ways lagging, Dolby Digital missing, EPG problem, bad PQ of some channels though HD packages is excellent enough to cater your demand. But again rift with broadcasters can end the excitement.

I had a chance to watch dish TV @ a friends place some time back I felt no inferior picture quality difference .... I always have argued that PQ is same with all providers.
