LCD TVs looks somewhat bulky . Look wise you will like Sony as compared to any other company. But one disadvantage of Sony LCDs is you won't be able to play .mkv files via USB .
Help needed in deciding LCD TV to buy

this model does play .mkv... it is mentioned in guidebook...

Can you share the guidebook link pls ?? May be a new Firmware update can solve my LED issue too.

Yes, finally they eradicated their drawback. If they would have done that before I could have saved 8K bucks buying BD player. ompus:

which brand lcd/led do u want. i have two very good options in philips and samsung

u could hv easily converted .mkv to .avi in ur computer :-?

I did that but that too didn't worked. I tried all possible things. Even contacted International forums but finally had to buy a BD player as most of the 720p videos available on internet are in .mkv format only.
