techinformerz.com , onlinesbi.com , even jio.com is also not working. These are just a few sites I can remember. It affects any site for that matter. For instance, if I search for the issues I am facing viz DNS issues on JioFi - alot of sites come up in google search, but only one or two open while others give several errors. Like Err-Conn- closed or Website not responding or any random error.

Needless to say each of those sites can open with other networks like my idea cellular as hotspot or through VPN

I can access the sites that are not available through Jio when I use Idea Cellular as WiFi hotspot or USB tethering. What exactly does that mean? Is the issue with my laptop or jiofi? That is precisely what I want to know because if it with Jio, I am still under warranty and can fire them.

Thanks - will try and update here. Using Betternet right now.

However, as far as my knowledge goes - the issue can only be resolved only by the ISP, right? There is nothing much a user can do. Please guide me on this.

I wish Jio read this thread and do needful correction, else you may email them with the web links and wait for their response.

Honestly I feel the problem lies somewhere else. That's why I asked for remote access. Also I have checked on jiofiber, jio mobile and Excitel. Everything is working flawlessly.

yes. now i also feels the same after reading his post that even jio.com is creating issue.

i think resetting the network settings might solve this.

I went thru a series of solutions. Changing dns servers, flushing DNS and a whole lot of them. But nothing sorted out the issue. Even turned off firewall and antivirus.

However , finally decided to perform system restore. And that worked. I don't know what was creating the problem.
