Open MX player.
Then go to Video and see all live TV channels are available.

Its better. Its streaming quality is much better than Sony LIV.

and for Mobile screen 720p is sufficient.

this feature is available only for MX Player. Pro version has not been given this feature.

I also thought the same. Content might be on revenue sharing and ad is the most appropriate source of income
