Bro you are wrong.MSM has IPL rights till 2018 while Star has ICC broadcast rights till 2023.These are contracts with boards broadcasters cant give and take rights at their free will.

The big fight will be in 2018 when new IPL rights and Indian Cricket rights both will be up for grabs.If one channel gets both rights then they will make billions of dollars.

Also MSM is looking to oust TEN from places like WI and SA when those rights come up for renewal.

BCCI is totally backing MSM in its quest to get Cricket rights as BCCI wants TEN out of most cricket countries.

Its just another BCCI way of asserting control over cricket boards.

I am not sure but i think both of these bagged these rights last year only. isn't it ?
