Yes, great news for us HD customers in Bangalore! As always, Hathway seem to come out of hibernation and add channels in one big-bang spree.

It looks like they're still working out all the bugs as I'm not receiving audio on many of the new HD channels.

Gopi bro: What settings do we need to keep in the Installation Setup -> Audio section? For the "Audio Format on HDMI" I've selected Dolby Digital. Is this fine or should we keep Dolby Digital Plus or PCM?

Yes, sound is missing in some HD channels. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon. If your TV supports Dolby Digital Plus, then keep Dolby Digital Plus else keep it to Dolby Digital.

Also, channel 551(Star Movies Select HD) is blank at the moment. Is it the same for you?

Yes. It's blank for me too.

I've got another point that's been bothering me for a while, does the audio of all the Nat Geo HD channels sound much much worse than the other HD channels?

For the past few weeks, the HD channels of Nat Geo and Wild have had very poor quality, like a tinny sound similar to that from a low quality cell phone. And now, their new HD channels are the same! People, Fox Life, Music all have poor audio quality compared to Discovery HD or Animal Planet HD or any other.

If anyone on Hathway or even other operators has noticed that same, please confirm this so that I know it's not just my ears going nuts!

I called customer care and they said that they will improve within this month by adding Language option in Audio in Info & Lifestyle channels.
They also added due to some interference we have to wait 3 months for all HD channels been added in remaining/all cities and good and satisfying news is this that no more time after 3 months they will definitely add.
