champu patel: Just call there CC and tell them that you are facing issue with new software. They will log a complaint and you will get replacement call by tomorrow. Replaced STB's are having new software which is tested by D2H engineers at warehouse

Sorry mate ... i guess i had removed my personal details from the screen shot ... any ways thanks for letting me know would be more careful next time !!!... and yes you can call the nodal officer... they would certainly help you.

The service engineer replaced my old STB with a new one ....
OLD STB - it was really painful to depart with the old STB as i had kept it in a very good condition just like my other electronic equipments

The learning out of this exercise - Got some good contacts in D2H. I had got several calls from D2H service team & they ensured that my problem would be fixed by EOD. one strong email can turn the system upside down.
I had asked that this could be a temporary solution as this STB might again get updated with new software. I had been ensured that this STB is capable of handling the new software. If in case the problem reoccurs i can personally contact them and would be given apt solution...
I would like to re emphasise as i have told before ......escalating your problem through right channel is very important for speedy resolution

It's really frustrating that customers have to go with this unwanted exercise. And even worse is that one have to waste time writing mails to CEO and top management.

This clearly shows the inefficient behavior of d2h ground level Team who who know the language of stick only. Unless you use it, they believe it resting.

God know what would be happening to all those who can't mail or escalate their issues.

Glad to know that your STB has been replaced. Can you post the Download ID version of the software in your new STB.

Yes IM that's true .... it's unfortunate ... but at least i am glad that whenever i had service related issues my concern has been addressed with satisfaction

@mono where will i find the download id Version.. What i can see it says download ID 32 and OS version R684..Hope this satisfy your question

Yeah sunnysep1 bro. Happy that at least your box got replaced and you are enjoying TV viewing now. And I can understand the pain of loosing the box which you kept in good condition. I too have suffered from this. My very well conditioned DVR was replaced with not so well maintained one.

Thanks for the reply. You have to go to Setup menu and then product data. I think you got it ok. Anyway enjoy watching.

I just have a feeling could be emotional than rational .... i feel the new STB is quicker then the old one ....i am getting higher level of audio in most of the channel....
