Yes we don't need to watch TV as Updating gets automatically, no YES or any button pressing entirely during whole update process. So just keep STB on and Take good sleep

No need to press any button. Infact d2h releases software updates during midnight hours so that channel viewing is not disturbed.
So, let the software download itself and do not press any button. Also. At any point of time it fails to download, it will re-try to download automatically after interval of half and hour or an hour.
And if it shows any error and transmission is stopped, contact d2h because in such cases , set top need to me either manually updated or replaced .

Testing this OTA for another 2 days seems wrong....d2h won't do that because they tested it on 7/9/13 night 12 am and this OTA seems buggy also. By using it for whole one day i experienced that it hangs a lot. Very frustrated by seeing this.
If we change the channel then EPG changes first and channel itself changes long after 7-8 seconds!!!
It hangs too much that it cant recognize remote on time if we want to see 18 no. channel and press 1 and 8 then it only recognize 1 and switches to 1 channel (Very disappointed). we have to wait for 2 sec. between pressing 1 and 8. if we press it normally (lil faster) as we always do then it can't recognize 8!!!
Too Much disappointed with this.. I have also posted this prob. on d2h FB page. Lets see they improves something and release OTA or keep eye closed and passes this buggy OTA to people. I would be happy if they improve and release update in next week.

My box hung once so far, and the didn't face any lag as mentioned by Champu Patel while changing the channels.
But still there is a sense of disappointment with it's responses to my remote commands.
Another issue was with the channel NGC HD, with it's sound. I have created a thread for that. Can you check and tell me if you have any similar issues.

Got an update from D2H that it was sample upgrade and still in testing mode with lots of bugs so its not recommended at all. They said to wait for a stable upgrade which will be done in daytime.
Hence these sample upgrade can ruin your TV watching experience so not at all recommended.

No body asked them for this bloody sample and buggy update. They themselves are pushing .
If they knew it has bugs, they must have stopped OTA after day 1.

d2h are hell minded.....Why they are pushing buggy updates....they can also test it by themselves and can know good and worst about Software, why they are playing with customers....This bugs are very big they also know but still they are pushing updates....
WHY they don't hire some knowledgeable and experienced software developers Unlike Tata sky?
it's very shameful for d2h that they can't solve just this hanging issue....
