Cc says that only thru spdif port we can hear the dolby digital music... no thru tv ... is it so?

Dolby can be pass out from STB through 2 ports.

1. SPDIF
2. HDMI

SPDIF in port is available in TV and STB. So, cable through this port can be connected from STB to TV or Home Theater.

Using HDMI , we can connect STB ----> TV and from TV ----> Home Theater. STB will provide input to TV and from TV HDMI out it can be connected with Home Theater HDMI In.

Will be able to hear sound through tv speaker if i choose dolby option from language menu..

there is noo hdmi out in tv bhai. for that case u need to onnect hdmi from stb to tv and from tv connect home theatre with optical out

I dont have optical in my sony ht is there a way to get dolby sound . I have connected stb -> tv - > ht through tv audio out..

Let's make it more simple. Connect STB & TV via HDMI and then connect TV & HT via SPDIF.
