I am not using Home Theater. So, exact confirmation can be given by either bhaskarkilli or someone else using HT.

Actually D2h is testing Dolby sound since few days.it was enabled mid nights in History HD,d2h music HD and d2h 3D HD.Now they testing in Star world HD(Now it is removed).M tunes HD is enabled this option(still not activated).Generally any DTH or cable tests only one HD channel after that they will enable rest of the channels.Give Dolby sound is very easy task but the problem is if they enable Dolby sound it will come who have the HT.But Noraml TVs doesn't catch Dolby sound.so PCM sound also should be enabled. during testing technicians will try to enable both options PCm and Dolby sound.it is difficult task and take time.

Generally any STB has the option Optical fiber but D2h STB has the option SPDIF.U can get Dolby sound from SPDIF cable from d2h STB to HT.it is very easy task.If U dont have SPDIF option in ur HT,U can take from TV(STB connected to TV via HDMI).U can take from TV via optical cable to connect HT.But this option I have still some doubts.I already connected TV via HDMI and I connected optical fiber from TV to HT.hathway STB is working fine giving Dolby sound but my Bluray player is not giving Dolby sound from Optical fiber.So I have to Check this option whether d2h STB will work with optical fiber from TV or I have to use SPDIF cable only.Anyways I will give exact info once Dolby wud be enabled.

I checked with CC, they are saying Dolby sound we can get only if we connect from spdif port...Do any of you in the forum tried connecting the HT in spdif? Please Update.

So D2H is working as per its commitments Hope they wld rule the DTH world some time in future

Yes bro.I have the option in my HT and tried.Right now they just added that option but d2h is not activated Dolby Digital option.when it will get activated I will update here.

I don't think it's activated. Cc is headache. Don't trust them. Try to get this confirmation through chat.
