As a result, while Micromax has an exclusive licence for South Asia, OnePlus has a non-exclusive licence for the entire world except China. Cyanogen has clarified that its agreement with Micromax supersedes all prior agreements."

In that case Micromax is completely right. Either One Plus has to change their OS or stop selling handsets in India further.

according to me , it is cyanogen whose at fault here .... they should not have tied with another company , knowing that they have tied with oneplus and they are launching in india soon so , should not have tied with MMX and oneplus did a blunder by not getting cyanogen bind legally for the rights but no need to worry as THE DISPUTE IS ONLY ABOUT THE CYANOGEN LOGO AT THE BACK AND ONE PLUS SELLING THE GLOBAL VERSION HERE IN INDIA , WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO IS TO MAKE AN INDIAN VERSION OF THE ONE AND REMOVE THAT LOGO ON THE BACKS AS THEY DO IN CHINA ! But Oneplus is working on its own ROM that's bloat free and pretty close to stock lolipop and better than that of cyanogen in terms of updates / support as they them-self handle that and going to be rolling it latest by FEB 2015 in india and soon to follow others ! and india is going to be one of the first to see Oneplus two !
