HELP Planning to buy 5.1 Home Theater for my TS HD+

I recommend you to stay away from Philips product as it shut down the home entertainment. you could buy onkyo or Bose.

Bose???it wont work it out in this scenario.Minimum price is 45k with out console.So how can he effort that much of price??

after reading from lot's of forum i come to conclusion that if u need 5.1 output . u need SPDIF IN speakers / home theater that won't come under 10 k

Now Tatasky HD STB is enabled DD in HDMI. I dont know exactly about TS HD + . Only Ravi can confirm by checking the Sound setting page of his STB. if its available and set the SPDIF then i think no issue in getting DD 5:1 SRS.
Any way i am not a expert on this matter

We cant connect TS STB with HT post no33 because it is not having digital port.

Sir if TS supports DD sound threw HDMI then we can get DD sound from optical fiber threw TV.If not we can get DD sound threw STB only.Some STBs having SPDIF/Coaxial output or digital port/optical fiber option.So according to that we can get DD sound threw Optical cable or Coaxial cable.

I think u can connect through Coaxial cable bcoz there is a option for that cable as seen in Picture of STB .
See the marked area . i think its for Coaxial connection

Well one of the TS sales person told me that the HT should have Coxial cable auto input....where in we have to take coxial audio out put from TS HD+ and connect it to HT (Coxial input)...it gives surround affect....now i am clear....

Now suggest me HT which has Coxial Audio input feature....
