For multiple recording , you need to have DVR. I guess no multiple recording is possible in normal HD boxes with USB recording.

I am watching colors 9:00 - 9:30 pm and have already scheduled a recording of star plus for 9:00 - 9:30 PM in the morning..now on 9:30 PM..can i start watching star plus recorded version and can i fast forward ads in it ?..

Series Recording is not allowed in dishtv but their is one dummy option is available don't how its work. Regarding Recording Facility I am very clear about this "you can't schedule recording in DD Free Dish channels as they don't have EPG" also dishtv have massive EPG problem so sometimes you might miss to set it.

Obviously bro, once u have recorded any content be it even for two minutes, like if i record a serial for 2 minutes at 9PM so i can view that instantly as soon as the recording as started and fast forward to the present time or the whole duration of the recording. Even if u pause the live content then u can fast forward it to the present time

Also even in Normal HD STB which uses USB or Hard Drive for recording, u can record and view diff channels only condition being that they are on same transponder of the DTH operator

Time Based is same we have to manually set the recording, TBR and EBR in dishtv is same set manually to opt it.

Didn't get your question what fast forward ?

I was asking about fast forward ads...if i have recorded star plus for 9 to :30...half hour..can i fast forward ads in it ?
