I don't know why these idiots wanna invest further for VoLTE if they have already invested so much on 3G and 4G.
Its better they save money for next generation of spectrums.

If they cannot offer VoLTE right now that means they are not ready for next generation. Next Generation will be all about internet.
VoLTE is voice call on the internet. So even LTE and VoLTE itself is all about internet.
Airtel uses 2G for call and 4G for internet.

Actually VoLTE investment is in paper to gain investors trust not actually every tower will be VoLTE equipped

It will take a lot of time for Airtel to catch up on 4G. Jio has everything based on 4G network. They don't offer 2G or 3G. All operators except Jio rely on 2G for calls. I wonder how much time it would take for them to upgrade the area covered by Jio with 4G network right now.
And the VoLTE feature phone would another big thing from Jio because those who don't need internet and want to only do free calls both local and STD would also try to get Jio, especially eleder people who don't care much about the internet.

Nah. Voice spectrum is also available on 3G and 4G. They are combinedly utilizing all their allocated bandwidth.
And its evident that VoLTE is more efficient and economical but again it will require investment.

I used airtel for 3-4 yrs but never had a single call drop..

Airtel is already offering free calls bhai on their 4G network itself. Regarding network Airtel still have better network. In Airtel you have 3 options to remain connected 2G 3G and 4G Whereas Jio only have 4G.
Also network issue is huge is Jio and they still needs to improve a lot. And by the time everything will be improved in Jio its pricing will be at par to other operators. And if not then in next couple of years if will meet the same fate as RCOM.
