Airtel is already offering free calls bhai on their 4G network itself. Regarding network Airtel still have better network. In Airtel you have 3 options to remain connected 2G 3G and 4G Whereas Jio only have 4G.

Also network issue is huge is Jio and they still needs to improve a lot. And by the time everything will be improved in Jio its pricing will be at par to other operators. And if not then in next couple of years if will meet the same fate as RCOM.

Those packs have a price tag of 500+. It's not called free and have limit of 300 minutes of a day.

That's the major drawback they will face in the future. They have to maintain 3 technologies, 4G is not even available everywhere. Forget 4G, they don't even 3G in many rural areas yet. On other hand Jio has to only increase their number of towers. Which they have already stated that by the end 2018 they will cover the entire nation.

Airtel was a looter. Don't be their defender.
I remember they were planning to have special pack for WhatsApp voice call. What kind of telecom operator would implement such thing ! haha

You are wrong about Jio meeting fate of RCOM. It will never happen. Prices will increase for sure, but customers are the real winner in near future.

we were expecting the same from RCOM what you are expecting from Jio. NO one knows teh future bhai. Telecom is a very saturated Industry now. Only demand is data.

That's why Jio is clear winner in near future. Because they have future ready infrastructure. They have international marine cable of Internet traffic and longest fiber optic laying in entire nation.

No. It wasn't available at RCOM. There was hardly availability of the internet at that time.
Jio is not RCOM.

Whatever was available at the time of RCOM launch, RCOM was faster than anything else available. I have witnessed it so i am very well aware bro.
