Update Tata Sky General Discussion Thread

I am still confused as to what is tata sky doing? Its been over a week since channel number 80 was added , what purpose is it solving? Is tata sky waiting for new software to be updated in HD+ STB's and then start addition plus migration to Asiasat together? I guess they will add a channel in STB which will only be available on new satellite like airtel added channel 99 which was available on new sat and it acted as an indicator for customers who have been migrated or not. Cust care used to ask whether u r receiving that channel or not to confirm migration.

I believe channel 80 will be removed soon from V TP, other new channels will be added on V TP's . Channel number 80 will be present only on STB and it will act as an indicator for customers. Those who have migrated to Asiasat will receive it

Tata Sky is bloody slow in whatever they do. They don't plan things properly, just give excuses and then we keep waaaaaaaiting forever.

Now all models and types of SD and HD STB's have been updated, after HD+ are updated i expect changes to happen.
