how can? Every one will ready to change stb if they got msg from tata sky. Then how can ts arrange 5 million stb within period of 2 moths.[july is already gone in speculation]

I personally feel T(S will start migrating all south regional channels to Mpeg4 and try capturing the lost ground, and probably in another year they will fully migrate to Mpeg4. Its my hunch. 
Lets see again whats told by nagpal
"We have been adding channels in a phased manner, so channels will be added one by one the process will now be accelerated with the mpeg-4 stb. was working on mpeg4? but now they lost all hopes of new tp. So contract is done with mpeg4 provider company and rollout very soon. By june-july next year we should be able to revise our channel offering to consumers," said nagpal so all users can capable to watch mpeg4 channels and all tp will be in mpeg4 with all channels

So, it has started. I wish they add all new channel in MPEG4 and gradually migrate all channels to MPEG4.
