If you can wait 3-4 month, wait another month movies will be automatically available in movie channels(like Z cinema,max, star gold etc) as we have so many hindi and english movie channels(almost 20+). No need to subscribe Showcase or D2h cinema. So I think Showcase or d2h cinema is useless until films are released in DTH along with theater. This is my point of view of-course.

I said because cc guy told me so of-course it was long time back.

They are latest after theatre. It's understood that hit movies will latch late on satellite.

movies like " Himmatwala " , " Joker " , " Policegiri " etc came into PPV with a month or two. Whereas there are movies like Barfi came on PPV after 6-7 months.

When I will come online via Laptop, I will share some more facts. Presently I am on my iPad , so I shared those which I remember. Also comparing iron man is irrelevant as its an Hollywood movie.

In Mumbai, weekend tickets cost no less than 300 to 400 in any multiplex during weekends. And as we have job and thousand other things to do , so it's not possible to watch all the movies bro. Hence PPV and World Television Premiere are something which we wait eagerly.

And what you are saying isn't feasible. Human eagerness is hard to hold. It's not like we waited for 3-4 months , then wait for another 1 month. But it's like we missed it on day 1, 2 and 3. On 4th review was not good enough to spend 400-500 bucks and later on we become busy.

So, as soon as we find the another good chance to watch it economically at home, we watch. And topic is not on how, why where to watch.

Topic is if a ' X ' movie is being shown by d2h at Rs 15, why Tata Sky is charging Rs 100 for the same.

But as you clarified, you don't watch showcase movies and watch in theatre or Wait till WTP so I shouldn't expect reasonable answer from you.

The one who would be spending money on these costly PPV would be the right person to share his thought.

Yea its true TATASky is charging to much for Showcase. Only God knows who subscribe these movies at this cost. Rs 50 was ok but Rs 100-150 is to much. May be in future we will see Rs 200+. Hope they will reduce their price after getting poor response from customer. :goodnight:

Yea its true. You can even rent movies in iTune also. But earlier you said " I prefer 720p rip from Internet ;). Why waste money on this stuff when it's easy available online :pirate:"

That is why we thought you are talking about torrent or DC++ or something similar. If you are not using these kind of stuff then go ahead no one is complaining. We should stop piracy. Please give them credit to the their work.
